Our counsellors help carers to cope with the pressures and stresses associated with their caring role and with the impact of caring on their own health and wellbeing.
Our network covers metropolitan and rural regions and can provide bilingual and culturally sensitive services in some areas. It includes experienced social workers, psychologists and counsellors with carer and condition specific expertise.
Currently we manage more than 100 contracted counsellors across Victoria. Once a year we review the need for any new counsellors to meet the changing needs of carers.
We are particularly interested in hearing from counsellors in rural locations or with bilingual or clinical or condition specific expertise.
